HIVOS is an organization based in Holland working towards "a fair, free and sustainable world". They are KADERES' main donor concerning microfinance activity, the largest and most successful of KADERES projects. HIVOS, like KADERES, believes that support can come from outside sources but the work must be done by the people. This is exactly the message KADERES is trying to spread and the vision they see for the future of Karagwe and Tanzania. 
KADERES has been working with HIVOS since 2002 and has a contract to continue their partnership for until 2011.
