Karagwe Peasants and the World Food Program
In June, July, and August of 2009, KADERES was able to assist the peasants of Karagwe in attaining fair prices for their beans by selling them to the World Food Program. Before World Food Program could pick up the collection of beans, KADERES needed to sort, clean, and rebag all of the beans from the Karagwe farmers. The following photos show that repacking process.
